Diamond Contractor installation extends Mitsubishi parts warranty from 7 years (standard) to 12 years on M-Series, P-Series, and Hyper-Heat systems. We complete annual Diamond training updates at Mitsubishi Electric US headquarters in Suwanee, Georgia, with rolling updates through the Mitsubishi e-learning platform.

Daikin Comfort Pro

Daikin’s certification level. Active since 2020. Extends Aurora and Fit Series parts warranty to 12 years; adds lifetime compressor warranty on Fit Series. Annual training requirements through Daikin North America headquarters in Waller, Texas.

Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer

Carrier’s certification for dealers meeting installation quality, customer service, and ongoing training requirements. Active. Enables access to Carrier Infinity Series equipment (the variable-speed, communicating-control top tier) which is not available to non-authorized dealers. Annual training through Carrier University.

Parts Availability for Older Equipment

One question we field regularly: “My furnace/boiler is from 1992 / 1985 / 1972. Can you still get parts?” Answer depends on the manufacturer and component type. Generic components (capacitors, contactors, transformers, fan motors, gas valves, ignition controls, thermocouples, pressure switches) remain available indefinitely through universal parts. Manufacturer-specific components (proprietary control boards, electronically commutated motors with brand-specific firmware, sealed combustion modules) may be harder to source after 20 years.

For cast iron steam and hot water boilers, sections are typically available 30+ years out because manufacturers continued producing the same section designs for decades. Burnham IN-Series sections from the 1970s are interchangeable with current Burnham IN-Series sections. Weil-McLain EG-Series similar. Crown Bimini similar. This is one reason cast iron steam boilers from the 1960s and 1970s are still serviceable, while a 1990s Trane forced-air system with a discontinued control board may be cheaper to replace than repair.

Will the brand of equipment affect my warranty?

Yes. Each manufacturer carries different warranty terms (typically 10 years for major brands, 12 years for Mitsubishi and Daikin when installed by a certified dealer, 20-25 years on cast iron boiler sections). We register the manufacturer warranty on your behalf within 30 days of installation, which activates the full warranty period rather than the shorter unregistered base warranty.

Can you service my older brand that’s no longer made?

In most cases, yes. We service Williamson-Thermoflo, Utica, Slant/Fin, legacy Crown, legacy Peerless, legacy Lennox G-series, legacy Trane XB and XE series, legacy Carrier 58-series, pre-Hyper-Heat Mitsubishi Mr. Slim ductless units, and many other equipment lines that are out of current production. Cast iron boiler sections from the 1960s-1980s remain interchangeable with current sections in most cases. Forced-air systems with discontinued proprietary control boards may be repairable with universal parts or may make more sense to replace — we’ll diagnose the specific failure and recommend the actual better path.

Why is Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor or Daikin Comfort Pro status meaningful?

Two practical reasons. First, the warranty extension — Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor installation extends parts warranty from 7 to 12 years; Daikin Comfort Pro extends Aurora and Fit Series parts warranty to 12 years with lifetime compressor on Fit Series. Second, training and installation quality — both programs require annual training updates and quality audits, which means Diamond and Comfort Pro contractors install to a documented standard.
